The design of this Prospect Heights cafe uses pattern and texture to enliven industrial materials at every opportunity. The rich palette of concrete, reclaimed wood, and textured porcelain tile reflects the elemental quality of the organic cuisine and the personality of the owners. The name Milk Bar refers to traditional corner stores found in Australia and this cafe was designed to provide the same comfortable environment for the neighborhood.
